1. If you would prefer to handle the claim, you can purchase a diminished value appraisal from us and handle the claim yourself. The fee for an appraisal is $450* for standard vehicles and $650* for high-end vehicles. You will not be charged for the appraisal until it is ready to be emailed to you.

 

If you choose to purchase the appraisal only option, then you will be responsible for filing the claim and negotiating a settlement with the at-fault insurance company yourself.

 

 

2. D’VA has claim specialists that will handle the claim for you once your appraisal is run. The fee for having the claims specialists handle your claim is 35% of the settlement amount and a reduced price for the appraisal of $325* for standard vehicles or $500* for high-end vehicles, which is also taken from the settlement so there is

no out-of-pocket expense to you.

 

If you choose to have the claim specialists handle your claim, they will file the claim on your behalf and negotiate the settlement for you. Once an offer has been made by the insurance company, you will be notified and together you and the claim specialists will determine if this is a fair settlement and discuss your options.

* Vehicles are evaluated and calculated based on JD Power's pre-loss retail value at the time of accident. Vehicles valued below $100k are considered standard, and vehicles valued at $100k and above are considered high-end.
